“When someone says that wasn’t real Communism, here’s what it means. I am so narcissistic and arrogant and so convinced of the rightness of my ideology and of my moral purity, that if I was the dictator of a Communist state, the utopia would have come in as promised. That’s what it means…You think had you been Stalin, that there wouldn’t have been so much blood—you think again!”
In this gripping interview, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson dissects the Cultural Marxist / Critical Theory / Post-Modernist viewpoint(s), purpose and ultimate goal. And he’s getting damn close to merging with the Randy one, to the degree that I am expecting to see Ayn burst through his chest one of these days, a la Alien.
Dr. Peterson’s comments on “power” reminded me of this excerpt from Atlas Shrugged:
“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… We’re after power and we mean it… There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game”—Atlas Shrugged, (1957) Ayn Rand
As much as I admire many of the great champions who have fought against the Flying Spaghetti Marxists over the years, Jordan is turning out to be THE most valuable player of our new century—a true Knight of the Plaid Table—defending Western Civilization like no one else can. It’s Jordan’s intense authenticity, mastery of elocution, rhetoric and the ideas of the day along with a very…Canadian tough-love vibe, eh? that sets him apart from most recent champions of the Right.
In fact, Jordan is not on the Right or Left which makes him so very dangerous to the Marxists. He’s a man of Liberalism. Classical Liberalism. And we love him (not more than a friend) for it—for his balls, brains and awesome Kermit-like voice. Or to be fair, Henson-like.
Of course, once Google caught wind that Dr. Peterson was gaining a major following and was starting to affect the politics of the day, they tried to knock him off his own YouTube channel. Makes sense. Although part of me believes some asshole executive at Google does this sort of thing to make more popular the people they’re supposed to destroy on behalf of our elites. I mean, they can’t be that stupid, can they? Or perhaps that’s just me hoping for a Francisco d’Anconia behind Copper Mine.
